The arrival of the Christmas holidays, transform the plain of Falcade and Val del Biois into an enchanted valley covered by soft white snow and illuminated by warm lights that appear from the terraces of houses and streets making the atmosphere even more fairytale.

The great tradition of the Dolomites Christmas markets in Falcade returns and can be visited until 6th of January both to a series of events during the holidays season until the Epiphany.

The evening of December 31st  live the fun and joy of New Year’s Eve in the square to welcome the new year together!

During Christmas holidays, Falcade and the Val del Biois in the Belluno Dolomites, are transformed into a journey through traditions, authentic flavors, and fairytale atmospheres.

From Christmas markets to nativity scenes, to sculptures of Emotions in the Snow, the town dresses in magic and welcomes visitors of all ages with a rich calendar of events.

El Canton del Nadal, the Falcade’s Christmas markets.

From December 6th to 8th, December 12th to 14th, and then again from December 19th to January 5th, Falcade hosts El Canton del Nadal, the space dedicated to traditional Christmas markets. Between twinkling lights, the scents of mulled wine and artisanal products, it will be possible to immerse yourself in the most authentic festive atmosphere and discover local gastronomic and artisanal excellence.

Throughout the Christmas period there will be a succession of concerts, children’s workshops and events.

The Valley of the Nativity Scenes – A magical itinerary in Val del Biois

Dal 24 dicembre al 6 gennaio, i borghi della Val del Biois si trasformano in un itinerario di magia davvero emozionante: La Valle dei Presepi.
From December 24th to January 6th, the villages of the Val del Biois transform into a truly exciting magical itinerary: The Valley of the Nativity Scenes.
A map that can be picked up at the valley’s tourist offices will show you the route and places to admire the nativity scenes and guide you along this popular Nativity trail, accompanying visitors on a discovery of artistic, traditional, and creative nativity scenes created by the locals.
For the little ones, the experience is enriched with fun “Nativity Scene Hunting”, an activity designed to engage families and let children experience all the joy of Christmas.
